Preamble

Subarno Nagorik Unnyan Sangstha (SNUS) is an Organization of Persons with Disabilities (OPD) working in the Satkhira district of Bangladesh. The organization was started in 2014 from the village of Mukondpur under Kaliganj upazila of Satkhira district.

Md. Forhad Reza, a person with cerebral palsy, initiated this organization. Initially, he identified several people with disabilities in his area and motivated them to organize and advocate for their rights.

The organization promotes human rights, education, healthcare, income generating, and employment for people with disabilities.
